SideKick (#1 Product of the week on Product Hunt) boasts itself as the fastest browser made for work. It’s three core functionalities viz. apps in sidebar, multiple logins, chrome tab organiser are boasted it's early users. In this issue, we talk about how to Sidekick convert free users into paid customers.
Absolutely love using Sidekick (can't go back to chrome now)!
Here are my thoughts on the pricing:
- While I think $8 is a steal for the value, it does seem a tad bit expensive when you see the referral perks (invite 20 friends and free forever!).
- The free plan is good enough for me ('the plan has ended' popups are the only downside).
- Sidekick's privacy and ad-block system are pretty strong, comparable to Brave's. They could use it to attract a wider set of audience.
Interesting point Vikrant.
More user calling can reveal the price elasticity. Not really sure users understand chasm between free to paid.
Also, look at your own statement "The free plan is good enough for me", hints towards the free to paid problem.
